42.SANTA MARIA DE LA SALUTE AND ST. ANA
There are two churches above Perast. On the slope of St.Elijah.
According to a legend there was an old settlement of Perast around the church of St.Petka. A fresco in the altar from the end of 17th. century links St.Anne 's cult with an ancient cult of St. Petka. It was signed :
PLEASE REMEMBER ME SINNFUL IN YOUR PRAYERS.

Santa Maria de la Salute is from the first part of17th. century. The Martinovichs built it. From simple cut stone.
There is a modest square opening instead of a rosette.
The fresco in the altar is covered with another layer.

Both churches face the west with their portals.
The architecture is archaic. Pre-baroque.
