3.MASTER OF THE ARC
Two celtic words:
PER- master, and
AST- arc, curve; explains the position of Perast.
The name of the place shows that the arc which consists of Kotor and Risan bay has a base which is a dominant factor. It dominates. It prevails over Verige and its connection with the world.
Perast guards. Its front is towards the narrow strait which is used for arrivals and departures.
Verige is the arrow with which the master of the arc sends it goods, people and informations away to the world. And receives them.
Two islands in front of the town emphasize the control position.
The town Perast is founded on that location. Adapted to the arc. Built in the manner of the Masters.
